Sunshine Lodge is a detached holiday lodge on a park just outside Polperro. It's about a mile and a half from the village itself.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's a double with its own ensuite shower, and a twin room. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining, and living area all together. Doors lead out onto a good-sized, private deck that wraps around part of the lodge. It gets the sun.
On the park there's an indoor swimming pool you can use, and a tennis court. They sometimes have evening entertainment in the main building.
Polperro is the classic Cornish fishing village you're picturing. Narrow streets, harbour, the lot. The coastal path from there towards Looe passes Talland Bay, which has rock pools and a beach cafe. Looe is about three miles away. It's a proper working town with shops, places to eat, and sandy beaches. The Looe Valley Line train from there to Liskeard is a nice little trip.
Fowey is roughly a 25-minute drive west. It's a beautiful town on the estuary. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here. For official walking routes and information, Cornwall Council's countryside site is useful.
The lodge has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. A travel cot is available if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.
