Rosebud Cottage is one of several cottages on Polean Farm, just outside Pelynt village. It's a converted farm building from the 18th century. Before it was a cottage, it was used for storing hay.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a four star rating. The ceilings have beams.
The farm itself is a working livery yard with horses. On weekday mornings, you can help feed the lambs, goats, and chickens. There are tractor rides sometimes too.
You get free use of an indoor heated swimming pool at a nearby holiday park, just a few minutes' drive away. Please note the pool is not available during August. Some swimming sessions have a small charge. There's also evening entertainment at the same place, but that's not on from November to March.
The cottage has its own enclosed garden. Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. Up to two dogs are welcome.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away. The coast is about three miles. Looe and Polperro are both very close by car. You can get to the National Trust sites along the coast, or places like Fowey, within half an hour.
