Low Tide
This place is called Low Tide. It's up on the hillside in west Looe, so you get a quiet view over the trees and the river.
They call it an apartment but it's on one floor, like a flat. You've got two bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has bunk beds, with a double on the bottom and a single on top. Sleeps five. There's one bathroom. It's got a bath with a shower over it.
The main thing to know is there are quite a lot of steps from the road up to the front door. It's not for everyone. The actual stairs inside are fine.
Inside is clean and straightforward. The living area is all one room, with the kitchen at the back. You can see the river from the window. There's a TV, wifi, all that. Outside there's a decked bit with a table and a barbecue.
You're about a mile from the beach in Looe, so it's a walk down the hill or a short drive. The town centre and harbour are the same. Looe's good for a proper seaside day: fish and chips, crabbing, boat trips. They get the day boats in so you can buy fish right off the quay.
If you want to walk, the South West Coast Path is right there. Polperro is along the coast, about ten minutes in the car. For something bigger, the Eden Project is maybe half an hour. Plymouth is about the same distance the other way.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That covers everything: washing machine, parking for one car, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot if you need it.
