The Lookout is in Downderry, near Seaton. It's a detached house on the side of the hill. The view is straight out to sea. Honestly, that's what you're paying for.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two are doubles, one has twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have their own little balconies too. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main living area is upstairs. Big glass doors open onto a large balcony. There's a wood burner and a TV for the evenings. The kitchen is there as well. There's a toilet on that level.
Important thing: the stairs. They go down from the living area to the bedrooms. They're proper cottage stairs. Steep and a bit narrow. Fine if you watch your step, not great for anyone with mobility issues.
Downderry has a decent sandy beach with rock pools. There's a pub. Looe is about a ten minute drive for bigger shops. It's a quiet spot.
You're right on the South West Coast Path for walking. The Eden Project is roughly 20 minutes by car. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about the same. Plymouth is further, maybe 40 minutes including the ferry from Torpoint.
What's here: parking for two cars on the drive. Wifi. A washing machine. Dishwasher. A BBQ in the garden. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust in Cornwall site is useful, and so is the official South West Coast Path page.
