Deviock Farm House
This is Deviock Farm House. It's a detached stone farmhouse on the lane down to Downderry in Cornwall. It's quiet up here, you get the fields and the view down to the sea.
The house sleeps six, in three bedrooms. They're all doubles with king size beds. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs and a shower room upstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable.
You come in through the kitchen. It's a big room with a proper range cooker and a dining table. The doors open onto a terrace and the garden. The garden is enclosed, mostly lawn, with a hot tub at the top. The lounge has a wood burning stove and a TV.
It's about a 15 minute walk down the lane to Downderry village and the beach. The path is steep coming back up. There's a shop and a pub there. The beach at Seaton is about a mile in the other direction.
You're right on the edge of the South West Coast Path here. The Whitsand Bay and Looe stretches are very good. Plymouth is about a 30 minute drive for a city day, or you can get onto the moors from there.
Regarding the house: there's parking for a couple of cars, an electric vehicle charger, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to two dogs. The doors are a bit low in places, typical for an old farmhouse.
