Denzell is in Looe. It’s a terraced cottage up the hill from the harbour. You get really good views over the river and the town from the first-floor sitting room.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the first floor, the other two are up another flight of stairs on the second floor. The stairs are fairly steep, in that old-house way. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
You’re welcome to bring up to two dogs. There’s a small patio area out the back and The Downs are right opposite, which is handy for walks.
Looe itself is about a ten-minute walk downhill. The path is mostly level lanes. There’s a sandy beach, the harbour, shops and places to eat. The train station is down there too, for the line to Liskeard.
For a day out, Polperro is about a 15-minute drive along the coast. The Eden Project is roughly half an hour away. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey are also within a 30-minute drive.
Inside, it’s got a wood burner in the living room and a fireplace in the kitchen-diner. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on-site, for one car usually.
