This place is called Hayloft. It's near Looe, up from Millendreath beach. It's a barn conversion, part of a group of them on the same grounds. Ours sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating because everything's in good order.
The barns are 17th century stone, so the walls are thick. They're semi-detached, so you'll hear a bit from next door now and again, but it's generally quiet.
The main thing is the location. You're literally a few minutes' walk from the South West Coastal Path. You can step out the door and be on it. Millendreath beach is right there too, maybe a three minute walk down the hill. It's got a café on the sand. Looe itself is about a mile and a half along the coast path, or a short drive. It's a proper working fishing town, so the harbour's good for watching boats.
Inside it's open plan downstairs. There's a TV and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has what you need. Upstairs, the bedrooms are under the eaves, so mind your head if you're tall. The shower is in the bathroom.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's an allocated parking space for one car, and some extra shared space if you need it. There's a kids' play area on the grounds.
For a day out, the National Trust has a few houses and gardens nearby. The Monkey Sanctuary is in Looe. If you want to go further, the Eden Project is about a 40-minute drive. Plymouth is maybe half an hour east if you need a big city.
The nearest shop is about a mile and a half away in Looe, so you'll likely want to drive for groceries. There's a pub a mile walk, and the beach café does food. That's about it.
