Horseshoe Cottage is on the outskirts of Deviock, near Downderry in Cornwall. It's part of a small farm. The place sleeps four, in two bedrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's nicely finished and comfortable.
The layout is a bit different. The main living area is upstairs, because it gets the view over the farm. It's a good size room with a TV and a sofa. Downstairs is the kitchen-diner and one of the bedrooms with its own shower room. The other bedroom is upstairs too, also with a king bed and its own shower. That one has a Juliet balcony.
The farm has about three acres you can wander. There's a vegetable garden, some chickens, and a couple of ponds with ducks. If you have a dog, they're welcome, but you need to keep them on a lead around the animals. We provide bedding and towels. There's parking, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.
Downderry village is about a twenty minute walk downhill. There's a pub there with good views over the sea. The beach is shingle and sand, with rock pools at low tide. If you walk west along it, you get to Seaton. There are a couple of beach cafés there and a play park.
Looe is about a fifteen minute drive. Polperro is roughly twenty minutes. The National Trust has a few good spots along the coast, like Antony. You're not far from the Tamar Valley either. For wider trip planning, Visit Cornwall is useful.
If you're coming with more people, you can book the cottage next door, Roosters Rest, as well.
