The Shepherds Hut is in Trewidland, which is inland in Cornwall. It's on our land, in a quiet bit of woodland. It's detached, so it's just you out there.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's small, but it's been done up well with things like underfloor heating and a decent shower. The bed is a proper double.
Outside there's a veranda with a table and chairs. There's a private parking space.
You can walk through the woods to St Keyne station, which they call Wishing Well Halt. You can get the train from there straight into Looe. It's about a twenty minute ride. Looe is a proper fishing port with a beach, shops and places to eat.
By car, Looe is about ten minutes. Polperro is maybe fifteen minutes. The coast path is accessible from several points around there. Liskeard is ten minutes the other way for bigger shops. The National Trust and Cornwall AONB sites have good information on walks and places to visit.
Things to know: it's a hut, so the space is compact. It's open plan. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs. There's wifi. It's a rural setting, so you'll hear birds and the wind, not traffic.
