Bluebell Cottage is near Liskeard in Cornwall. It's a single-level cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. That can be useful.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is good for that size. One bedroom has a king-size bed with its own shower room. The other has twin beds. There's a separate family bathroom with a bath and a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining, living area. It's been done up recently. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The garden is quite large and private, with a couple of different places to sit. It's surrounded by its own woodland, so you might see deer or owls. It feels very quiet.
You're about a 15-minute drive from Liskeard town. The mainline train station there is useful. You can get the scenic branch line train down to Looe, which saves dealing with summer traffic. Looe has a proper harbour, beaches, and the usual shops.
Polperro is also about 15 minutes away by car. It's an old fishing village, very pretty, but the streets are narrow. The coastal path runs through there.
You're well placed for lots of things within half an hour. The south coast beaches like Whitsand Bay are that way. Bodmin Moor is to the north if you want proper moorland walks. For a bigger day out, Plymouth is about a 40-minute drive.
Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. Sorry, no pets.
