Rock Terrace View is in Bakewell. It's a terraced cottage and it sleeps two.
The setup is a bit upside down. You come in on the ground floor into the sitting room. The kitchen and bathroom are on the first floor. The bedroom is up another flight on the second floor. The stairs are standard for an old cottage, so mind your head if you're tall.
The kitchen window looks out over the fields. You can see them while you're having breakfast. The bed is a super king size.
You can walk into Bakewell town centre in a few minutes. It's downhill on the way there. There's a Co-op for groceries, and plenty of cafes and pubs. The original Bakewell Pudding shop is there if you want to try one.
For walks, you can pick up the Monsal Trail right from Bakewell. It's a good traffic-free path. Chatsworth House is about three miles away. The house and gardens are worth a visit. You can get to the Goyt Valley or Mam Tor in about half an hour by car.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a small patio area out the back. No pets.
