Paddock Cottage
Paddock Cottage is on the edge of Monyash in Derbyshire. It's not really in Bakewell, that's a few miles away. You look out over fields.
It's a three bedroom cottage. Sleeps four, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are normal.
There's a conservatory on the front. Good for sitting in with a coffee. The garden is lawned, with a patio and a barbecue. Parking is on the street outside, which is usually fine.
In the village, there's a good pub that does food, a cafe, and an ice cream place. Another pub is about a mile down the road in Over Haddon if you fancy a walk.
The back gate goes straight onto the footpath for Lathkill Dale. It's a five minute walk to the top. It's a really nice valley for a walk. You can fish there too if you have a license.
Bakewell is about ten minutes by car. Buxton is maybe twenty minutes. Chatsworth House is about twenty minutes drive the other way. The Peak District National Park site is useful for planning walks.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
