The Loft is a studio apartment for two people on the first floor of an old building in Earl Sterndale. It used to be a pub called The Quiet Woman. The building is very old, maybe 400 years.
It's got a king size bed, a small kitchen and living area, and a shower room. It's open plan, so it's all one room. The ceiling is high and beamed with Velux windows so it's quite light. There's a stable door that opens to a little sitting out area with a view over the fields.
There's private parking right outside. You can bring one dog. There's an outdoor hose for washing muddy boots or a wet dog, and a drying room for coats.
Earl Sterndale is in the Peak District. You can walk straight out onto the hills. The famous ones you can see from here are called Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill.
The village of Longnor is about a ten minute drive. It's got a couple of pubs that do food and a fish and chip shop. For a bigger shop, Buxton is about seven miles away. Bakewell is about eight miles. Chatsworth House is within half an hour.
