This is High Peak Retreat. It's a new, detached house in Harpur Hill, just outside Buxton. Built to be a holiday let, so it's all on one level once you're inside, which is handy. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms. Two have king-size beds, one has bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. The other has a bath with a shower over it.
You've got a kitchen with a dining area, and patio doors out to the garden. The living room is a good size with a TV. There's also a games room in the converted garage with a pool table and a dartboard.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with furniture and a covered hot tub.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
Harpur Hill village has the basics: a newsagent, a chip shop, a pet shop, and a pub, all a short walk away. Buxton town centre is about a five minute drive. It's got the Opera House, shops, and places to eat. You can walk it in 40 minutes if you fancy it.
For getting outdoors, you're right on the edge of the Peak District. The High Peak Trail and Monsal Trail are close by for walking and cycling. There's a golf course locally too.
