Hollybush Cottage
Hollybush Cottage is in Buxton town centre. It's a proper stone terrace, three storeys high. It sleeps eight people, but with only one main bathroom, you all need to be good at sharing. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The layout is open plan downstairs. Kitchen, dining table, lounge, all in one space. It works for a group. There are four bedrooms: two king-size beds, and two rooms with twin singles. One of the king rooms has its own small shower room, which helps.
Out the back is a small courtyard. It's walled, private, and gets the sun in the morning. There's a table and chairs out there.
You're right in the middle of things. The Opera House and the Pavilion Gardens are a five-minute walk. There are pubs, shops, and a few spas nearby if you fancy that. Buxton Park is just up the road if the kids need to run around.
For getting out, you're on the edge of the Peak District. You can drive to the Monsal Trail or Lathkill Dale in about twenty minutes. Bakewell is twenty minutes in the car. There's a train station in town with a direct line to Manchester if you want a city day; it takes about an hour.
In the cottage, there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
