Cromer Cottage

Cromer Cottage is down a little ginnel off the main road in East Runton. You can't see it from the street, which is nice. It's a terraced house, but you wouldn't really know it once you're inside.

It's rated 5 Star, which means it's been checked for quality. It's well kept. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow. You've been warned.

You can walk to the beach. It's about three minutes down the lane. It's a sandy beach, good for kids. The pub is about the same distance the other way. It's a proper local, does food.

The cottage has a small walled courtyard out the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Inside, there's a wood burner for colder nights, and the kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. We include all the bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs.

Cromer itself is the next village along, about a mile or so. They've got the pier and the lifeboat station. Sheringham is a couple of miles the other way. The North Norfolk Railway runs between them, which is a nice trip.

If you're driving, you can get to the National Trust places like Blickling Hall or Felbrigg Hall within half an hour. The coast path is right there if you want to walk to Cromer or West Runton.
