Scarrow Beck House

Scarrow Beck House is in Hanworth, Norfolk. It's a detached house, double fronted. Sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, so that helps with a group.

It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well kitted out. There's a main sitting room with a wood burner and doors to the garden. Across the hall there's a second room with a TV, an arcade machine and table football. The kitchen is big with an island and stools. The dining room has another wood burner.

Outside is a fully enclosed garden. There are two patio areas. You can park on site.

Upstairs, the main bedroom is a king with a dressing room and en-suite. There's another king bedroom with an en-suite, and two twin rooms. There's also a family bathroom.

You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included.

The village is quiet. It has common land, so you might see cows grazing in the summer. There's a shop about a mile and a half away in Aldborough. For a pub, The Gunton Arms is well known and about ten minutes by car. The Suffield Arms is in Thorpe Market, about the same.

The coast is roughly fifteen minutes drive. Cromer and Sheringham are the main towns that way. Cromer has a pier and a beach. Sheringham has the steam railway. The RSPB Cley Marshes are a short drive east.

For walking, you can get to Felbrigg Hall from here. The National Trust site is good for a day out. If you want to go further, Holkham, Blickling Hall and Sandringham are all within half an hour. Norwich is about half an hour's drive for shopping or the cathedral.

If you're here around Christmas, the Thursford Collection does a big show. It's about twenty minutes away.
