Swallow Cottages, No. 2
This is number 2 Swallow Cottages in Wickmere. It's one of a pair. You rent one cottage, but the other might be occupied, so you get your own garden. The garden is big and looks out over fields.

It's quiet here. The nearest pub is in the next village, about a mile and a half away. They do food.
You're about 20 minutes from the coast at Cromer. Good beach there. The Sheringham Park estate is nearby for walking. Norwich is half an hour's drive if you want a city day. The cathedral is worth seeing.
For the Broads, you'd drive to Wroxham. That's also about half an hour. You can hire a boat there. The Blickling Hall estate is a similar distance.
