Zero Degrees North is a ground-floor apartment in Sheringham. It’s part of a modern development across from the sea, in a quiet spot just off the main road.
The key thing is the view. The whole front of the apartment is glass, so you see the sea from the main room. It’s a grown-up place that sleeps two. One bedroom with a king-size bed, one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating. The owners use it themselves, so everything is good quality.
You can walk straight out onto a decent-sized terrace. You can sit there with a coffee. The beach is a two-minute walk away. It’s a Blue Flag beach, which means it’s clean.
Inside, it’s open plan. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s a Nespresso machine with a few pods to start you off. The bedroom has doors out to the terrace as well.
In Sheringham, you’ve got a few pubs, cafes, and shops for essentials. The local steam railway, the Poppy Line, runs to Holt and back. You can walk to the golf course along the coast path.
If you want to go further out, the North Norfolk coast is right there. You can drive to Holkham, Blakeney, or Cley-next-the-Sea easily. Cromer’s about ten minutes west. Norwich is about 45 minutes inland by car or train. The Norfolk Broads are also within reach for a day out.
