The Old Cottage and Field View Annex is in Walcott, on the Norfolk coast. It's a main cottage and a separate annex in the garden, so it sleeps up to eleven people across the two buildings. That's why it's good for big families or a few families together.
The main cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's a ground floor bedroom and shower room, which is handy. The annex has two more bedrooms and a sofa bed, plus its own bathroom. It's detached, so you get a bit of separation from the main house if you want it.
The beach is sandy and about a mile away, maybe a twenty minute walk. It's a good, quiet beach. The village has a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a fish and chip shop. All the basics are there.
Inside, it's got a big dining table that seats everyone. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. The garden is enclosed with a high fence, so it's secure for dogs and kids. You can have a barbecue there.
Now, some things to know. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. But there are low beams and ceilings in places, because it's an old building. You need to mind your head. The stairs in the main cottage are steep and a bit narrow. They're just normal cottage stairs, but you should be aware of it.
You can bring up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site.
For things to do, you're right on the coast path for walking. Cromer is about twelve miles west, with its pier and things. Norwich is twenty miles inland if you want a city day, with shops and the castle museum. The National Trust has a few properties nearby like Felbrigg Hall. If you're interested in the Broads, Wroxham is about twelve miles south.
