Starboard

Right, Starboard. It's in Bacton on the Norfolk coast. Used to be a pub, now it's a holiday cottage. Sleeps six, but in two bedrooms, so it's a bit of a squeeze if you're all adults. There are two bathrooms though, which helps.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's been done up nicely. Wood burner, dishwasher, that sort of thing. The garden's enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids.

It's very close to the beach. About 80 yards, so you can just walk down. The beach is sandy and it’s a long one, goes off towards Mundesley one way and Walcott the other. You can walk along the path at the back of it.

The village is just there. There's a pub a few minutes walk away, a fish and chip shop, a cafe. Nothing fancy, but it's handy. Bacton Woods are nearby if you want to go for a walk somewhere green.

For days out, Cromer's about 20 minutes in the car. They've got the pier and the usual seaside stuff. Norwich is maybe 45 minutes if you want a city, or you can go up the coast to the Broads. It's good for just getting out walking along the coast path.

In terms of what's there: parking on site, washing machine, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. They take up to two dogs.
