The Seas Beach House

The Seas Beach House is in Bacton on the Norfolk coast. It's a bungalow, so all on one level, and it's detached. You can literally step out of the back gate and straight onto the sandy beach. The view is just the sea. I think that's the main thing about it.

It sleeps five people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's not a show home. It's a place for being at the beach.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for a couple of cars right there. It has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a TV, wifi, and a garden. Bedding and towels are included.

In the village, there's a play park, some nice woodland walks, a couple of pubs that do food, a fish and chip shop, a cafe, and an ice cream place. The nearest shop and the main pub are about a mile away.

If you want to explore, Cromer is about a 20 minute drive up the coast. Sheringham is about half an hour. They're classic Norfolk seaside towns with piers and crab shops. Norwich is about 40 minutes inland for a proper city day out.

For a different kind of day, the Broads are close. You can hire a boat in Wroxham. BeWILDerwood, the adventure park, is nearby too and kids seem to love it.

There are some good National Trust places within a 30 minute drive if that's your thing: Blickling Estate, Felbrigg Hall, and Sheringham Park. In the winter, you can go and see the seals at Horsey Beach.
