The Maltings

The Maltings is in Trunch, inland from the coast. It's a conversion of the old grain store, joined onto the main Brewery House. It's just for two people, but it's a good size inside, very light. It's got a 4 Star rating, which I think reflects the standard of the fittings.

Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The bathroom has a deep bath with a shower over it. Upstairs is the bedroom. It's open-plan under the eaves with the bed and a small seating area. The stairs are steep and narrow, just so you know.

Outside there's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking right there, and you can lock bikes away if you bring them.

Trunch itself is quiet. There's a village pub. The coast at Mundesley is about a five minute drive for a sandy beach. Cromer is along the coast road, maybe fifteen minutes. They've got the pier, shops, and places to eat.

If you head west, Blakeney is about half an hour. You can take boat trips to see the seals from there. Holt is a bit inland, twenty minutes or so. It's known for its antique shops. For the Broads, you'd drive to Wroxham, which takes about twenty-five minutes. You can hire a day boat from there.

It's a comfortable place. There's a wood burner, a smart TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs.
