Maple Leaf Cottage
Maple Leaf Cottage is in Tregonna, near Little Petherick in Cornwall. It's a Canadian timber lodge, which means it's made from big, solid pine logs. It feels quite spacious inside because of the high ceiling.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's a kingsize room and a double room, both with their own ensuite shower rooms. The third room has bunk beds. There's also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table, and sitting area all together. There's a fireplace. The sofas are comfy. The kitchen has what you'd need.
Outside, there's a covered veranda and a deck with some furniture. The garden is a lawn that leads up to a field and a little stream. It's quiet.
For beaches, you're about four miles from the coast. Trevone Bay and Harlyn Bay are the closest. Constantine Bay, Booby's Bay, Treyarnon Bay, and Mother Ivey's are all within a ten minute drive or so. Padstow is about three miles away for shops and restaurants.
The Camel Trail for cycling is easy to get to from Wadebridge or Padstow. You can hire bikes there. It's a flat path along the estuary.
In terms of facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the lodge. No pets allowed.
