Seals Cove
Seals Cove is a bungalow just up the hill from Polzeath beach. It's detached and all on one level. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean and tidy, not luxurious.
The big thing is the view. You look straight out over the beach and the sea from the front. The dining room is a conservatory, so you can sit with that view. There's a separate lounge and a decent kitchen.
Outside, there's a small enclosed garden and a driveway for parking. You can sit out there with a drink in the evening.
The path down to Polzeath is about a five minute walk. The beach is good for surfing and families. The village has a few shops, places to eat, and surf hire. It gets busy in summer.
If you want to explore, Rock is ten minutes by car over the estuary. You can get the ferry from there to Padstow. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here, so the walking is very good. The South West Coast Path runs right past.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a shower, no bath.
