The Old Store
The Old Store is in Trevone, which is just outside Padstow on the north coast. It's a single-storey bungalow, so everything is on one level. The front is right on the lane, but you've got a private, enclosed patio garden out the back. It's mainly gravel with a bit of lawn, and it gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and easy to live in. Being all on the ground floor means it's suitable if you have mobility issues or just don't want stairs.
The village shop and the pub are a few minutes' walk away. The pub does decent food. The coast path and Trevone Bay beach are even closer, just down the hill. It's a rocky bay with a bit of sand at low tide, good for swimming and rockpooling.
Padstow is about two miles. You can drive, or it's a nice walk along the coast path. It's got all the shops, cafes, and the harbour there. For other beaches, Harlyn Bay is around the corner, and Constantine Bay is a bit further.
If you want a day out, you're close to the National Trust coast around Bedruthan Steps. Newquay is about twenty minutes by car. For a proper walk, the Camel Trail starts in Padstow and goes along the estuary.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car right outside. Bedding and towels are included. It's not suitable for pets.
