Pine Marten Cottage is in Ballachulish, near Glencoe. It's detached, up a private lane with trees all around. It feels quiet but you're only a few minutes' walk from the village. There's a supermarket, a couple of places to eat, and a swimming pool there.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, just so you know.
The place is set up for being outdoors. There's bike storage. It's a good spot for walking straight from the door. Glencoe Mountain Resort is about a ten minute drive for skiing in winter. Fort William is maybe twenty minutes away. People call it the outdoor capital.
You can drive to the Glenfinnan Viaduct in under half an hour to see the steam train. Boat trips to Mull and Iona leave from Oban, which is about forty minutes south. If you want a proper day out, you can drive to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula or even up to Skye, though that's a bit longer.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. We can provide a highchair and a stairgate.
