Pine Marten Cottage
Pine Marten Cottage is just outside Ballachulish, past the main part of the village. It's detached, but our house is next door. You'll have the place to yourselves, we're just here if you need anything.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there's the one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The living space is all open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You get views from the front straight out to the mountains. The back is quiet, just trees.
The village centre is about a ten minute walk away. There's a supermarket there, a pub that does food, a takeaway, and a swimming pool. It’s handy.
You're right in the middle of it for outdoors. Glencoe is just up the road. Fort William is about twenty minutes in the car. The whole area is for walking, cycling, climbing, or just driving to see the views. Skiing is possible in winter at Glencoe Mountain Resort.
If you want to explore further, you can drive to Mallaig for the ferry, or go over to Oban. Loch Ness is about an hour away. The road to Skye is just over an hour.
