The local pub is about half a mile walk down the road. They do food. For a supermarket, you'd drive to Fort William or get an online delivery.
For getting out, you're right in it. Glencoe itself is famous for the walking and the history. The Glencoe Mountain Resort is nearby for skiing or the chairlift in summer. Fort William, which calls itself the outdoor capital, is about twenty minutes drive. That's where you'll find more shops and the start of the Ben Nevis path.
