This is Lia Fail. It's in Ballachulish over in the Highlands, which is just up the road from Glencoe village. It's a detached house, so there are no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You've got your own garden around it.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Three Star, like the description says. Everything is clean and it works, just don't expect luxury. It's level at the front and the doorways are wide, so getting a wheelchair in is fine. The inside is mostly open plan, though the bedrooms are separate.
The house works well for what people usually come here for. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. TV includes some satellite channels. Bedding and towels are provided. We can put a travel cot and a highchair out for you. There's parking on the drive.
Ballachulish itself is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about a five minute walk away. The coast and decent beaches are only a mile down the road too. The big draw is being so close to Glencoe, five minutes in the car. You're right there for walking the mountains, climbing, cycling, or going out on the loch. The bus stops in the village if you need it.
Fort William is about a half hour drive. That's where you get the Jacobite Steam Train, or the gondola up the mountain for skiing or the view. If you take the Corran Ferry from just down the loch, you can drive out to Ardnamurchan Point, the most westerly bit of the mainland. Oban, Inverness, and Loch Ness are all doable for a day trip. You can get over to Skye or Mull from here as well.
