This is Lia Fail, in Ballachulish. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You get your own garden and parking.
It sleeps eight people, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and well-equipped but not luxurious. It's good for a group. The garden is enclosed.
The property is wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp to the front door and the living space and one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor.
The village shop and a pub are about five minutes walk away. The Glencoe Mountain Resort is a short drive for skiing or the gondola ride. The bus service is reliable if you need it.
You're about a mile from Glencoe village itself. Fort William is about fifteen miles east. From there you can get the Jacobite Steam Train, which is the one that goes over the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
For outdoors, it's all right here. You can walk straight out for hillwalking. The Isles of Glencoe leisure centre with the pool is a short walk. For skiing, climbing, kayaking or mountain biking, you don't have to go far.
If you want to explore, take the Corran Ferry across. It's a short crossing. From there you can drive out to Ardnamurchan Point, which is the most westerly bit of mainland Britain. Oban, Mull, Skye, and even Loch Ness are all doable for a day trip from here.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
