River Mill House is in Ballachulish, near Glencoe. It's a big detached house right by the river. It sleeps twelve, with six bedrooms and four bathrooms.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's spacious, so a large group or a few families together won't feel on top of each other.
You can hear the river from the garden. The view is good. The garden is yours to use.
The house is about a five minute walk from the village shop and a pub that does food. Glencoe is just down the road. Fort William is about a twenty minute drive. That's where you get the Jacobite steam train from.
If you're here to be outdoors, you're in the right spot. You can walk from the door. The cycle path to Oban goes through the village. Kayaking, climbing, skiing in season, it's all nearby. The ICE Factor climbing centre in Kinlochleven is about ten minutes away by car.
A bit further out, you can get the ferry to Mull from Oban, which is about forty minutes drive. Loch Ness and Inverness are a good day trip, over an hour's drive.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking for a few cars. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
