Lismore Cottage is in North Ballachulish. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours sharing walls with you. It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the view from the living room upstairs. It looks straight out over Loch Linnhe to the mountains on the other side. It's a good spot to just sit.
It's set up for people who are going to be outdoors. There are two drying rooms with racks, which is handy if you've been walking or cycling in the rain. You're about a quarter of a mile from a hotel that does food. The shop is four miles away in Ballachulish.
You're right in the middle of a lot. Glencoe is just up the road for skiing in winter or the gondola ride in summer. Fort William is about twenty minutes away. That's where you can get the steam train to Mallaig, over the Glenfinnan viaduct you might have seen in films.
Within a half hour drive you can get to Glencoe village, Fort William, or the Corran Ferry to cross over to the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Oban, for ferries to the islands, is about an hour south. Skye and Inverness are further, but you can do them as a day trip if you don't mind driving.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, parking, and a garden. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but I'd check the full details if that's a requirement, as the living area is upstairs.
