Duart
Duart is a bungalow in Onich, on Loch Linnhe. It's detached, one of two houses there. The main thing is the view. You look right out over the loch to the mountains of Glencoe. Big patio doors make the most of it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. You can bring one dog.
You're about 200 yards from the shore. There's a private hillside right next to the property if you want a walk without getting in the car. For a pub or a shop, it's about a quarter of a mile.
Fort William is eight miles north. That's where you'll find supermarkets and more places to eat. The drive north from here, up past Fort William towards Spean Bridge and Loch Lochy, is very good.
You're well placed for Glencoe, which is just over the bridge. The Glencoe Visitor Centre is worth a stop. For a longer day out, Mallaig and the beaches at Arisaig are about an hour's drive. The National Trust for Scotland Glencoe site has walking information.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding is included. There's parking right outside and a patio garden.
