Stones Throw is on Old Town, Padstow. It's a townhouse, terraced with neighbours on both sides. You're two minutes from the harbour. Literally, a stone's throw.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after, comfortable, not huge. The top bedroom is up a steep staircase and has a low bit on the landing you need to duck under. It's fine once you're up there, just mind your head.
There's a small courtyard garden out the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. It's enclosed.
Padstow is all right there. Shops, pubs, the harbour. Rick Stein's places are there if that's your thing. For a big house and gardens, Prideaux Place is a five minute walk up the hill.
The beaches are a drive. Polzeath and Rock are about fifteen minutes. Constantine Bay and Harlyn are about ten. You can walk a section of the South West Coast Path from the town.
You can hire bikes in Padstow and go on the Camel Trail to Wadebridge. That's flat, along the old railway line. Bodmin Moor is about half an hour inland if you want open space. Port Isaac is twenty minutes up the coast. Tintagel is about forty minutes.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's no dedicated parking, but there's a long-stay car park a few minutes walk away.
