Pentire View is near Tredinnick, just outside Wadebridge. It's a barn conversion, down a lane. You get views across the fields towards Pentire Head.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms, which is handy. One's an en-suite. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are wooden and a bit steeper than in a modern house, just so you know.
The main room is open plan. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and there's a big dining table. The doors open right out onto the patio. There's an AGA wood burner for cooler evenings, it throws out a good heat. You've got a utility room too, which is useful for boots and coats.
Outside, there's a patio with a table, then a lawn that goes into a bit of a wild meadow. It's quiet. There's parking for two cars and we've had an EV charger put in.
Wadebridge is a couple of miles away. That's where you'll find the supermarkets, some nice shops, and the start of the Camel Trail. Padstow is about fifteen minutes by car. Newquay is maybe twenty five minutes, depending on traffic. The north coast beaches, like Harlyn and Constantine Bay, are a ten to fifteen minute drive.
For things to do, the National Trust Cornwall page is good for walks and coast. The Camel Trail website has cycling info.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher. The parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
