Cat's Cove
Cat's Cove is in St Merryn. It's a detached cottage so you're on your own, nobody through the wall. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean but not a show home.
You've got one bedroom with bunk beds, the bottom bunk is a double. The other room is a standard double. The bathroom has a decent sized shower. The living space is all open plan, with a kitchen at one end. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
Outside there's a decked area with a picnic bench, it's fenced in. You can park right next to the cottage.
St Merryn village has a couple of shops and a few places to eat. It's handy. The coast path is a short walk away.
Padstow is about ten minutes' drive. That's where you'll find the harbour, a lot of restaurants, and the start of the Camel Trail for cycling or walking. Newquay is roughly twenty minutes south, if you want surfing beaches or more of a town atmosphere.
The beaches around here are the main thing. There's a string of them along this bit of coast, like Trevone and Harlyn Bay. Good for sand, rock pools, and walking. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline locally, their site is good for planning walks.
For a change of scene, Bodmin Moor is about half an hour inland. It's quiet up there, different to the coast.
Everything you need for the stay is included, like bedding and towels. No pets.
