Atlantic Retreat
Atlantic Retreat is a holiday home on the Atlantic Bays park, just outside St Merryn. It's detached, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. There's a small private garden with a table and chairs.
It sleeps a maximum of five. Two bedrooms: one with a double bed, and the other has bunk beds where the bottom bunk is a double. One bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury.
The living area is open plan, kitchen and sofa all in one room. There's also a conservatory on the back which is nice for sitting in, or you can use it as a dining area. Parking is right outside.
The location is the main thing. You're about a ten-minute drive from Padstow. The nearest proper beach is probably Porthcothan Bay, which is about three miles away. Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay are also very close. For surfing, you'd drive to Newquay, which is about twenty minutes.
If you like walking, the South West Coast Path runs right along the cliffs here. You can pick it up easily. The Camel Trail for cycling starts in Padstow if you want a flat, traffic-free route.
Facilities included are all the basics: TV, washing machine, bedding and towels. There's on-site parking. No pets allowed.
