Stepper Point is a lodge on a holiday park near St Merryn. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the walls. The park itself is quiet, and it's about a ten minute drive into Padstow.
The lodge sleeps five. There are three bedrooms: two doubles and one single. One of the doubles has its own ensuite shower room. There's also a family bathroom with a tub. It's got a 4 Star rating, so everything is in good order.
Inside, it's all open plan. The main room has big windows and doors out to the veranda. There's a TV, a washing machine, and an electric fire for cooler evenings. All the bedding and towels are provided.
Outside, there's a decent sized veranda with a couple of seating areas. You get a bit of sun out there. Parking is right next to the lodge.
The location is good for the north Cornish coast. The park is near Trevone Bay, which has a beach and a cafe. Padstow is the main draw, for the harbour, the pasties, and the boat trips. You can get onto the Camel Trail there for a flat walk or cycle ride.
Newquay is about a twenty minute drive south if you want surf shops or the zoo. Bodmin Moor is inland, maybe thirty minutes away, if you fancy a change from the coast.
