Kylden is a bungalow, detached, in Port Isaac. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can fit two medium cars on the drive, but it is steep. That's useful because parking in the village is hard.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and a view. The other has twin beds with blackout curtains. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
Inside, it's warm and comfortable. There's an open fire for winter. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a Nespresso machine and a slow cooker. You get a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV.
The best bit is probably the terrace. It's enclosed, with a glass balustrade so the view isn't blocked. You can see Roscarrock Hill and Doc Martin's cottage from it. There's a small enclosed lawn too.
It's about a five minute walk down to the harbour front. The path back is up hill, so it's a bit of a climb. Port Isaac is a proper fishing village, quite small, with narrow streets. The Fisherman's Friends singers are from here. There are pubs and restaurants by the harbour.
For a day out, Tintagel Castle is about twenty minutes drive up the coast. The English Heritage site has booking information. Boscastle, also nearby, is a nice harbour village to wander around.
The South West Coast Path runs right through. You can walk to Port Quin or beyond from the door. For wider area information, Visit Cornwall is useful.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, electricity. There's on site parking as mentioned. No pets.
