Three Owls Lodge is near Meddon, about five miles in from the coast. It's a modern bungalow, so everything is on one level. It's fully detached and you've got your own patio and a bit of garden.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom has a shower cubicle, the other has a bath with a shower over it. We've got a 4 Star rating. It means it's well equipped and comfortable. The doorways are wide and there are no steps at the entrance, which is handy.
The main living area is all open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and sofas. One sofa is a futon, just so you know. Patio doors lead straight out to the terrace.
You're in the countryside here. It's quiet. Hartland Forest is nearby if you want to walk. The coast is about a ten-minute drive. Sandymouth Bay is good for sand, or Westward Ho! for a long beach. Bude is about twenty minutes away for surfing or shopping.
The old fishing village of Clovelly is close. It's owned by the National Trust and has a steep, cobbled street down to the harbour. Hartland Quay is dramatic for the rocks and views. If you like gardens, Hartland Abbey is worth a trip and RHS Garden Rosemoor is about half an hour's drive.
For facilities: there's parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
