Chaffinch Apartment
Chaffinch Apartment is part of Moorhead Country Holidays, near Venn. It's a family-run place. The apartment sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean.
The main thing is the site it's on. It's set in 12 acres, so there are fields and a lake. The views are good. Because it's a complex, you share some facilities with other guests. There's an indoor heated pool, a hot tub, a small gym, and a games room. There's also a bar and restaurant on site, but you need to book a table by 5pm.
The apartment itself is compact. It's on the ground floor. You get your own outdoor seating area.
Venn is quiet. For a pint, there's a local pub a short walk away. The coast is about a four-mile drive. Westward Ho! has a big beach. Bude is good for surfing and is about a 20-minute drive.
If you like walking, the Tarka Trail is nearby. For a day out, Clovelly is a steep, cobbled fishing village, about 15 minutes by car. RHS Rosemoor gardens are about a 25-minute drive.
In terms of what's there: WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
