Jasmine Apartment

Jasmine Apartment is one of eight holiday flats at Moorhead Country Holidays in Venn, Devon. The whole site is about 12 acres. It's family-run.

The apartment sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and well-equipped, but not luxurious. It's comfortable.

It's part of a complex, so you share the grounds. The big thing here is the on-site facilities. There's a heated indoor pool, a hot tub, and a gym. There's a games room and a fishing lake. There's also a bar and restaurant on-site, but you need to book a table before 5pm if you want to eat there.

You've got your own patio area with the apartment. It looks out over the fields. There's parking right outside.

In terms of location, you're about four miles from the coast at Westward Ho!. The beach there is good for surfing. Bude in Cornwall is about a 20-minute drive. It's a similar sort of place, with a good beach and a town centre.

For walking, the Tarka Trail and the South West Coast Path are both close by. The Hartland Peninsula is dramatic, but it's a bit of a drive down narrow lanes. Clovelly is a famous fishing village, about half an hour away.

The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are both family attractions within 30 minutes. RHS Rosemoor is a lovely garden about a 25-minute drive.

Inside the apartment, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a shower, no bath.

It's not a remote cottage. You'll see other guests around the site. But it's quiet and the views are good. The facilities mean there's something to do if the weather turns.
