Hawfinch Apartment
Hawfinch Apartment is part of Moorhead Country Holidays, near the village of Venn in North Devon. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. You're on a 12 acre site with a few other holiday apartments, so it's quiet but you're not totally isolated.
It's a 3 Star rated apartment. That means it's comfortable and clean, not a luxury hotel. The main thing here is the on-site facilities. There's a heated indoor pool, a hot tub, a small gym, and a games room. Outside there's a fishing lake and a pitch and putt course. There's also a bar and restaurant on site, but you need to book a table before 5pm if you want to eat there.
The apartment itself has an open plan living area, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. It's all on one level. You get a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
Location-wise, you're about four miles from the coast. Westward Ho! and its beach are a short drive away. The Tarka Trail for walking and cycling is nearby. Bideford is close for shops.
If you're planning days out, National Trust Devon has lots of local places like Hartland Point. For the area in general, the North Devon National Landscape site is useful.
The site is dog-friendly, but this particular apartment doesn't take pets. No smoking inside.
