The Studio
The Studio is in Stainton, near Penrith. It's a small, converted barn that sleeps two. One open-plan room with a double bed, a kitchenette, and a dining area. There's a separate shower room.
It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional rather than luxurious. The space works well for a couple.
Outside is a large private garden, with a patio and lawn. It's fully enclosed.
In the village there's a local pub. Penrith is a few minutes' drive away for shops and things. Penrith Castle is worth a look.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District here. Ullswater is about a 15-minute drive. You can get lake cruises from there. Good walking all around, from easy lakeside paths to the big fells further in.
Facilities: there's on-site parking, wifi, a TV, and all bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
