The bedroom is upstairs. It has a king-size bed. The bathroom and everything else is on the ground floor. There's a small patio area out the back with a table and chairs. It's walled, so it's private. You can bring one dog.
You're right in the middle of town. The train station is a five-minute walk. The bus stop is on the same street. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat right outside the door. You don't need to drive once you're here.
For things to do, Penrith Castle is a short walk away. It's an English Heritage site. The Lowther Castle estate is about a fifteen minute drive south. For walking, you're about twenty minutes by car from the eastern edge of the Lake District National Park. Places like Ullswater, or the quieter Haweswater, are within half an hour.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
