Beaumont Lodge is in Plumbland. It's a new build, detached. You're up on a bit of a rise, so you get a good view of Skiddaw from the decking. The decking is private, it's got comfy outdoor furniture on it.
It sleeps four. Two kingsize bedrooms, both with big Smart TVs. One has an en-suite shower room, there's also a family bathroom with another shower. There's a cloakroom too, handy for boots.
Inside it's all open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining space. It's spacious. There's a smart TV in the living area and an electric log-burner effect stove. It's got underfloor heating.
Facilities are straightforward: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, all the utilities are included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking right outside.
The village is quiet. Cockermouth is about ten minutes away by car. That's where you'll find supermarkets, pubs, and a few shops. It's a nice town to wander around.
You're well placed for the western Lakes. Keswick and Derwentwater are maybe twenty-five minutes drive. Bassenthwaite Lake is even closer. If you want to go further, places like Buttermere or Grasmere are within about forty-five minutes.
