Midtown House
Midtown House is in Aspatria. It's a tall townhouse, detached, set back a bit from the road. It's got four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it sleeps eight quite comfortably.
The rating is 4 Star, which means it's well-equipped and in good order. You've got a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has what you need. There's a conservatory and a utility room with a washing machine. The garden at the back is enclosed and private, with a patio and a hot tub.
The stairs are normal house stairs, but there are three floors. The main bathroom is on the first floor with the three bedrooms, and there's a kingsize bedroom with its own bathroom up on the top floor.
Aspatria itself is a quiet town. There's a local pub and shop. You're about halfway between the Lake District and the coast. It's about a twenty minute drive to get into the north-western fells, or to the beach at Allonby.
From here, Keswick and Bassenthwaite are maybe twenty-five minutes. Cockermouth is about fifteen. The Solway Coast is straightforward to get to if you want a windy beach walk.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. There's WiFi and a TV. We've put a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. Sorry, no pets.
