Barley Store is in Allonby, right on the coast in Cumbria. It's one of a few cottages around a courtyard. It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely. The entrance hall is big, with a dining area. There are old stone walls and beams, which you'd expect. The kitchen is a good size. The garden is private, with furniture.
Allonby itself is quiet. The beach is a few minutes' walk away. It's sandy and looks across to Scotland. There's a pub and a shop. The coastal path is good for walks.
You're about half an hour's drive from the northern Lake District. Keswick is within that range. So is part of Hadrian's Wall, like Birdoswald.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a games room shared with the other cottages in the courtyard.
