The Nook is in Tallentire, Cumbria. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been finished to a high standard, everything is new and works well.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The bedroom has a super king bed. The shower is a proper walk-in one. There are original beams. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and they're open tread. Just so you know.
You get a private enclosed patio with seating. Parking is right there on the drive. The Wi-Fi is fine. You can bring up to two dogs.
Tallentire itself is quiet. It's a hamlet. Cockermouth is about ten minutes away by car. That's where the main shops, pubs, and places to eat are. Wordsworth House is there, if you're interested. National Trust: Wordsworth House.
You're well placed for the Western Lakes. Loweswater and Crummock Water are a short drive. The coast at Maryport or Allonby is about twenty minutes. For a longer day, you can be in the central Lake District, like Keswick or Buttermere, within half an hour. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning.
The facilities list covers most things. Washing machine, dishwasher, towels included. It's all there.
