Cozy Cottage is on Arran, in Lamlash. It's one of the old back houses behind Hamilton Terrace. It's listed, so the walls are thick and the windows are small, but it's nice and warm inside.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. One double bedroom is on the ground floor next to the bathroom. Upstairs, there's another double and a small room with a single bed. The stairs are the original ones, so they're quite steep and narrow. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail.
It's got a 4 Star rating. We've put in new electric heaters in every room you can control from your phone. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking for one car right outside.
You've got a little patio garden. It gets the sun in the morning and you can see a bit of the water between the houses.
The village is quiet. There's a shop and post office about five minutes walk away, it's open late. The Aldersyde does meals and drinks. There's a good cafe about ten minutes walk along the front.
The pier is a nice place for a stroll. You can see Holy Isle from there. You can get a boat trip over to it if you want; it's a nature reserve with a Buddhist centre. For a bigger shop or the ferry, Brodick is about a ten minute drive. Brodick Castle is there if you're interested.
If you're here to walk, the Arran Coastal Way goes right past. For golf, Lamlash has a course. You can hire kayaks locally too.
