Old Steading is in Brodick on Arran. It's a converted farm building. The cottage sleeps six and has three bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom and a bedroom are on the ground floor, which is handy. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is just outside.
The garden's got a summerhouse. You can sit in there and look at the view. There are some steps in the garden, so it's not completely flat.
It's about a mile from Brodick. You can walk it if you don't mind a bit of a stretch. The town has shops, places to eat, and the ferry terminal.
Arran is good for walking. Goat Fell is the big one. There's coastal walking too, all around the island. The National Trust looks after a lot of it. For wider information, Visit Scotland has good guides.
You're close to Brodick Castle. Lamlash Bay is a short drive away. You can get a small ferry from there over to Holy Isle if you want to see it.
No pets, sorry.
